At Pebbles Day Nursery, we are always striving to provide the best nurturing and educational environment for your children. As we welcome a new month and new opportunities unfold, we are delighted to share some exciting updates and upcoming events at our nursery!

A Place of Love and Learning:

At Pebbles Day Nursery, we believe in fostering a love for learning from an early age. Our passionate and experienced team is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where your children can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. Whether it’s through play-based activities, interactive lessons, or creative expression, we aim to instil a lifelong love for knowledge in every child.

Website

We are pleased to announce our website has had a makeover. We are busy updating it with the latest photos and news. Don’t forget, follow us on social media to be the first to see what we are up to!

Halloween

Halloween is approaching and we are so excited for our Halloween parties taking place on the 30th and 31st at Pebbles Day Nursery. We can’t wait to see the children dressed up.

Staff Update

As both nurseries are growing we are requiring more staff on both sites. Staff pages will be updated on the new website very soon. We are looking for school runners – please see job advert on our Instagram and Facebook page.

The Curiosity Approach

As previously mentioned, we have introduced the Curiosity Approach at Pebbles, where children will be encouraged to explore the world around them through the use of everyday items and objects.

The Curiosity Approach aims to give children freedom by igniting their natural curiosity and imagination, encouraging them to think for themselves, make their own choices, and direct their own learning.

To help us take this approach further, we would welcome donations of any old household items (kitchen, living, bedroom etc) as well as old hats, dresses etc.. for dressing up activities. We are also looking for seasonal items such as pebbles, stones, driftwood, dried seaweed, small bags of sand etc…. to help our children become curious about their environment. So, if you’re out and about with your little ones, please pick up any items which you think will interest them and drop them into the nursery when you drop the children off!

Awards

Votes are now open for the 2024 Early Years & Play Celebration Awards, we would love it if you could vote for us and tell everyone what you love about Pebbles – it would be much appreciated! The voting closes in December so please click here to vote.

Our children love being part of the Pebbles Gang. So, don’t forget to order your child’s Pebbles branded t-shirt for the New Year (see design below). These are available for just £7.00 and come in two colours, red or jade, and come in the following sizes:

3 to 4 Years 4 to 5 years
